The Moment is Now to Stop Iran from Getting the Bomb

It's generally understood that a country gains a nuclear weapons capability some time before it gains the weapon itself. So when President Obama tells an Israeli television audience that Iran is only a year away from a weapon (or - as he more cheerfully put it - "we think it would take over a year or so"), he is in fact warning that we probably already have arrived at the crisis moment.
This crisis is not only arriving on his watch; it has developed on his watch. The accountability is his.
And all the while, Washington Republicans and Democrats are standing around mumbling as the defense budget gets sequestered. Dismaying.
