and Jimmy Choo co-founder Tamara Mellon launches namesake brand.

Fifty Shades Of Grey Lingerie Line: After much speculation, the Fifty Shades of Grey-inspired lingerie collection will finally debut next week. Designed by British brand BlueBella, the collection will include bras and panties for women — some pieces equipped with a detachable tie — and boxers for men, with pieces retailing from $15 to $53. Chief Executive and Founder of BlueBella Emily Bendell created the company in hopes of promoting confidence in women and to challenge sex taboos. “The 'Fifty Shades effect' has benefited our business and the books have played a significant role in shifting perceptions of female sensuality,” Bendell said. “This is core to our vision too, so we feel this is a perfect partnership.” [The Daily Mail]

Jimmy Choo Co-Founder Tamara Mellon to Launch Namesake Brand: Tamara Mellon, Jimmy Choo co-founder, will launch her own brand featuring ready-to-wear pieces, shoes, and handbags, retailing between $295 and $4,500. The collection will launch in November and aims to sell clothing appropriate for the season, rather than months ahead of time. “I don’t know any woman who wants to buy her winter coat in July,” Mellon said. “We will sell ours in September.” Mellon also reportedly plans to expand the brand to include fragrances, sunglasses, and cosmetics.
