David Bowie Crowned Best Dressed Briton in History: The magazine BBC History chose David Bowie to top its list of best dressed Britons, a title that is voted on by various historians, fashion experts, and curators. Bowie achieved an obvious majority with 48.5 percent of the votes, followed by Queen Elizabeth I in second place. Androgynous Supermodel Andrej Pejic Makes Acting Debut: The male model Adrej Pejic is famous for his versatility; he has modeled womenswear in the pages of countless fashion magazines and is regularly cast as a female in fashion campaigns. But Pejic is now taking on his most foreign role yet: as "Radu," in the Turkish period drama Fatih. The 22-year-old plays a Romanian who rose to power during the 15th century and was known for his beauty. Pejic is reportedly thrilled with his aristocratic costumes, and said that one of them reminded him of his favorite fashion designer, Alexander McQueen. According to Pejic's manager at Chadwick Models, the star's character is killed in the series, leaving him free to pursue his modeling aspirations. [Daily Mail]
