Andrej Pejic Cast In The Little Mermaid: As buzz begins to generate around Sophia Coppola’s live-action adaptation of The Little Mermaid, anticipation has grown as to who will play the coveted roles of Ariel, Ursula, and even the friendly crustacean Sebastian. According to The Daily Mail, 22-year-old androgynous model Andrej Pejic, who shot to fame in 2011 for her “gender fluidity,” has been confirmed to play one of four of Ariel’s sisters. Previously, Pejic has starred in David Bowie’s “The Stars (Are Out Tonight),” as well as the short film Reason and historical television series Faith. [MTV]

Jude Law’s Son Makes His Modeling Debut: Actor/British heartthrob Jude Law’s 17-year-old son, Rafferty, has officially hit the runway at London Fashion Week, making his catwalk debut at the DKNY menswear show Sunday. The aspiring model recently signed with Select Model Management, joining the ranks of celebrity-spawn models, which includes Kate Moss’ younger sister, Lottie, Romeo and Brooklyn Beckham—sons of David and Victoria—as well as Cindy Crawford’s daughter, Kaia. Olivier Theyskens to Leave Theory: After almost four years with the contemporary sportswear label, Theory, artistic director Olivier Theyskens is stepping down. “Olivier has done great work at Theory,” Andrew Rosen, the brand's chief executive officer, told WWD. “And I believe his appointment at the company and his creativity within the studio enhanced the brand and added a new dimension and new possibilities to the market segment.” The 37-year-old Belgian-born designer is reportedly seeking other (currently unannounced) design projects, and his departing collection will be pre-spring 2015.
