Fast cars, rocking power anthems, Germans: all of these things are featured in Kung Fury, a Kickstarter-funded short film that pays loving tribute to off-the-wall 1980s action movies. All of those things are also synonymous with 80s TV star/pop singer David Hasselhoff, so who better to perform the very 80s, keytar-heavy theme song, “True Survivor?”

Writer/director David Sandberg describes Kung Fury as “an 80s action comedy about a super kung-fu cop in Miami in the 1980s, who decides to travel back in time in order to kill Adolf Hitler.” Using scenes of The 'Hoff leaning back on a Lamborghini Countach, as well as scenes from Kung Fury—probably the only movie you'll see this year with dinosaurs, street gangs and Nazis—the “True Survivor” video is going to be the most batshit four minutes of your day.
