Musab al-Zarqawi, who was killed in an airstrike. Alexander's latest book is Kill or Capture: How a Special Operations Task Force Took Down a Notorious Al Qaeda Terrorist.
He is currently a Fellow at UCLA's Burkle Center for International Relations.
