In what the British paper calls a “lesson to the world,” the American people “stood in the eye of history and made an emphatic choice of change.” The paper continues, “It is hard to know whether to weep or shout for joy now that [the moment] has arrived—probably both.” And finally: “Savor those words: President Barack Obama, America's hope and, in no small way, ours too.”
