Bono No Longer ‘Worst Investor in America’?

Bono may no longer be the “ Worst Investor in America.” HP’s purchase of Palm means that Bono is likely to break even on his investment in the troubled Palm, whose share price is worth about one-third of what it was last September. Bono had put his money in Elevation Partners, which in turn invested the money in Palm; he is listed as one of the five members of the investment team at Elevation, which has also put money in struggling companies like Forbes and Yelp.
