She might have won eight Grammys, but R&B singer Anita Baker didn’t score with the audience during her rendition of the Star Spangled Banner before Game 4 of the NBA Finals Thursday night. As the Lakers and Celtics waited to battle each other for the championship title, Baker’s voice could have used a free throw. She started off shaky, missed a few key notes—and went downhill from there. On Twitter, fans (or once fans) compared Baker to a dying cat. “I love you Anita Baker but what the hell was that?" posted one user.
