A look at Michele Bachmann shows that the Republican representative has been quietly raising huge amounts of money for her campaign, even while managing her  duties as a congresswoman and her reelection campaign. She raised a dizzying $1.7 million last quarter, beating Palin’s much-publicized fundraising machine. Mitt Romney also raised more in just two months than the former governor did in three.
