Well-known publicist Ronni Chasen, 64, was found alone in her car with five gunshot wounds just after midnight Tuesday in Beverly Hills and died shortly after. Chasen worked on such iconic films as Driving Miss Daisy and Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves. Her dark-colored Mercedes had crashed into a light pole on Whittier Drive, near Sunset Boulevard. At least two reports of multiple gunshots came from the area. The homicide would be the third of the year for Beverly Hills, which saw no murders in 2009.
