Joey Votto Wins NL MVP

Cincinnati Reds first baseman Joey Votto won the National League MVP award on Monday for a season in which he batted .324, hit 37 homeruns, and had 113 RBIs. He also had the league’s best on-base and slugging percentages. He received 31 of 32 first-place votes, with Albert Pujols finishing second.
