Tornado Kills Six in Arkansas

A deadly tornado ripped through the tiny Arkansas town of Cincinnati on New Year’s Eve day, killing six people and critically injuring several others across the county, about 20 miles from the Oklahoma border. Police said several people have been trapped in buildings, and initial emergency responders are having trouble reaching them because of downed power lines. About 18,000 Arkansans lost electrical power due to the storm. The weather system then moved to on to Missouri, where two more fatalities were reported.
