Elizabeth Edwards Cut John from Will

In perhaps a final statement on her marriage, Elizabeth Edwards cut her estranged (and unfaithful) husband, former presidential candidate John Edwards, from her will less than a week before her death last month, new documents reveal. Edwards bequeathed all of her possessions to her three surviving children, with her eldest daughter, Cate, named the executor of the will. Edwards signed the final version of her will on Dec. 1, six days before she died. She’d previously stipulated that John would have custody of the couple’s two young children, Emma Claire, 12, and Jack, 10. John wasn’t mentioned in the final version of the will.
