But TVLine exclusively reports that DirecTV is in talks to air The Kennedys. The History Channel reportedly decided that the "dramatic interpretation" of the script was not a good fit for the channel. The real Kennedys were also pressuring the A&E network to ensure that the script for the movie was accurate, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
