Regulators Ignored Negligent Abortionist

Government officials missed clear warning signs about Kermit Gosnell's Philadelphia abortion clinic, where workers were arrested Wednesday on murder charges. A grand-jury report describes two decades of misbehavior approved by government agencies. It reads, "government health and licensing officials had received repeated reports about Gosnell's dangerous practices. No action was taken, even after the agencies learned that women had died during routine abortions under Gosnell's care." Gosnell, who is untrained as an obstetrician-gynecologist, opened his clinic in 1979. He is charged with killing a patient and murdering six babies born alive and then allegedly killed.
