Carmelo Anthony Traded to NY Knicks

Setting an end to months of rumors, the Denver Nuggets confirmed late Monday that they are trading four-time All-Star Carmelo Anthony to the New York Knicks for a grab-bag of players that will include Wilson Chandler, Raymond Felton, Danilo Gallinari, Timofey Mozgov. The Knicks also get a 2014 first-round draft pick and $3 million in cash in the blockbuster deal. “I’m glad it’s over,” Nuggets Coach George Karl said. “There’s some sadness to it, there always will be.”
