If American media hasn't been doggedly following Silvio Berlusconi's sex scandal enough, this will definitely draw them in: The Italian prime minister's lawyers want George Clooney to testify at Berlusconi's upcoming prostitution trial. The firm representing Berlusconi has asked Clooney to be a witness because the 17-year-old Moroccan girl with whom Berlusconi allegedly paid for sex previously said she saw Clooney and his girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis at one of Berlusconi's parties. The trial starts on April 6 in Milan and judges were presented with witness lists on Tuesday. "It seems odd since I've only met Berlusconi once and that was in an attempt to get aid into Darfur," Clooney said in a statement to The Daily Beast. Canalis has reportedly denied attending the party.
