Gloria Marie James, mother of basketball player LeBron James, was arrested Thursday morning in Miami, following an incident at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach Hotel. James, 42, became angry when her car was taking too long, according to parking attendant Sorel Rockfeller, who was involved in the incident. Rockfeller claimed that James assaulted him, and many witnesses supported his account. James was reportedly intoxicated with bloodshot eyes and the smell of alcohol on her breath. She was charged with simple battery and disorderly intoxication. This is her second arrest; she had previously been arrested in 2006 in Ohio, when she faced DWI charges. James moved to Miami after her son signed with the Miami Heat.
