Schwarzenegger Speaks Out on Separation

Arnold Schwarzenegger addressed his separation from his longtime wife, Maria Shriver, at an event in Los Angeles. “We both love each other very much ... and we are taking it one day at a time,” he said, noting that he had spoken to her just an hour earlier. The New York Daily News says Shriver walked out on Schwarzenegger a few weeks ago, but the couple still sees each other “all the time”—including their wedding anniversary and Mother’s Day. TMZ’s picture of the split isn’t nearly as amicable: The gossip site says Shriver was contemplating separation for years and found Schwarzenegger “impossible” to live with.
