The next Palin offspring to get married is not Bristol after all. Sarah Palin’s eldest child, 22-year-old Track, recently married his high school sweetheart, Britta Hanson, the families said in a joint statement Thursday. The pair married in a small ceremony in Alaska, but they’re planning a larger gathering “when the extended family and friends from the Lower 48 can travel north for the weekend,” according to the statement from Todd and Sarah Palin and the Rev. Duane and Elizabeth Hanson. The former governor used to joke that while her son was stationed overseas in 2008, she would get regular updates from Track’s girlfriend. Track is currently an Army Reservist and he plans on studying at the University of Alaska when the commercial fishing season ends, while Britta, 21, is studying nursing at the University of Alaska.
