After 25 years on the air, The Oprah Winfrey Show aired its final episode Wednesday to a mass audience, garnering the highest ratings the program has seen in 17 years. The final episode posted a 13.3 household rating overnight. Her numbers have not been as high since 1994, when she aired a show called "People Shed Their Disguises." This week's ratings alone have more than doubled the show's recent averages.
