Has a conservative group in California produced the most offensivepolitical ad ever? Turn Right USA released a web ad earlier this week attacking Janice Hahn, the Democrat running to take over the seat of retired Rep. Jane Harman (who is on the board of the Newsweek/Daily Beast company). The ad features African American 'gang members' waving assault rifles and sticking cash into the waistband of a striper who resembles Hahn. The state Republican Party has distanced itself from the ad. Democrats, meanwhile, are worrying that low turnout could hand the seat over to the GOP.
