After ousting him in historic protests earlier this year, Tunisia has sentenced former president Zine El Abidine Ben Ali to 15 years in prison on drus and weapons charges. The sentence, announced in absentia, follows an earlier punishment two weeks ago of 35 years for charges of theft and unlawful possession of cash and jewelry. Ben Ali and his wife were also fined $65.6 million during the prior sentencing.
