    Obama to Host Dalai Lama

    Perhaps he has some insight into cooling down the debt talks? President Obama will meet with the Dalai Lama at the White House on Saturday, their first meeting in over a year, the White House has announced. Saturday’s meet-up will be a private, 30-minute affair, and will likely touch on the issue of the Tibetan separatist movement. China, roiled that the high-profile sit-down will call new attention to its Tibetan policy, has demanded that Obama rescind the invitation.
