Wonder if President Obama will return the favor? Texas Governor Rick Perry said Friday that he prays every day that “God will open [Obama’s] eyes.” Perry’s comments to the Christian Broadcasting Network came just one day before his Houston prayer rally, called The Response. Perry also said God is the one who will make the decision about whether he will run for president. “I have no idea what God’s plans are for me, but I’m gonna try to be as faithful to him as I can be,” Perry said. “God’s got a great sense of humor, so I know that as well so anyway, whatever He has in store for me, I look forward to it.” Perry is a Methodist who attends a nondenominational church in Austin.
