Burger King is retiring its old mascot, a grinning king widely decried as creepy. The company split with ad agency Crispin Porter + Bogusky, which created a line of ads featuring the king character. Instead, Burger King’s new ad campaign will focus on the freshness of the chain’s food and the addition of guacamole to its menu.
