No Illegal Drugs in Winehouse Autopsy

Amy Winehouse’s toxicology report showed the singer had no illegal drugs in her system when she died, according to a statement released on behalf of Winehouse’s family. The statement said authorities sent results to the family that confirmed there were no illegal substances in Winehouse’s blood, but that alcohol was present, though it hasn’t been determined if it played a role in her death. The family has said that they suspect alcohol withdrawal—from quitting cold turkey —resulted in her death.
