Gaza Halts Rocket Attacks

    Egypt helped broker a truce between Gaza and Israel Sunday morning as Palestinian militants agreed to halt rocket attacks. A weekend of escalating violence had left nine Palestinian gunmen and an Israeli civilian dead. Three rockets were still fired at Israel after the 6 a.m. truce began, but they caused no casualties or damage, and there were no new attacks afterward.
