Sounds like Kim and Kris had some serious communication issues: Humphries was completely “blindsided” by the divorce filing, which he allegedly learned about on the gossip website TMZ, along with the rest of the world. Kris said that he and Kim had discussed the possibility of a divorce after a $10 million wedding and just 72 days of marriage, but that he believed they could work out their problems and didn’t know Kim was filing the papers until this morning. In a statement, Kim said she had decided to end her marriage “after careful consideration,” adding, “I had hoped this marriage was forever, but sometimes things don’t work out as planned.” Humphries, meanwhile, told E! he was “devastated” and is “willing to do whatever it takes to make it work.”
