Google Mulls Pay TV

    This has to make cable providers anxious: Google is thinking about offering paid television services directly to consumers, according to The Wall Street Journal. The company has already expanded a high-speed Internet project in Kansas City to include phone and video services; now, it is considering adding major television channels to the package. The company hired a former cable executive in September to lead talks with the channels.
