Not another college sports scandal. Authorities are investigating reports that a Syracuse University basketball coach molested a ball boy for more than 10 years, beginning in 1980. Bernie Fine, the team’s assistant coach of 35 years, is alleged to have abused the boy in his home, at the university, and on road trips. The alleged victim is 39-year-old Bobby Davis, who has told ESPN about the abuse. University officials say that the allegations were brought up in 2005 and conducted a four-month investigation when the police refused to look into it, but found nothing. Syracuse city police are now looking into the case.
