    Son: Joe Paterno Has Lung Cancer

    Joe Paterno’s personal difficulties just got worse: His son told the Asssociated Press Friday that the recently fired Penn State football coach, the highest-profile casualty of the Jerry Sandusky sexual-abuse scandal, has lung cancer. Paterno’s son said the 84-year-old is undergoing treatment and that "his doctors are optimistic he will make a full recovery."
