At a campaign stop in New Hampshire on Tuesday, President Obama slammed members of Congress for refusing to pass his latest jobs bill. “Some folks in Washington don’t seem to get the message that people care right now about putting folks back to work and giving young people opportunity,” Obama said. He took specific aim at Republicans for their cynical obstructionism: “Not one Republican in Washington was willing to say it was the right thing to do.” The president added that he would continue to work to enact job-creating measures with or without the support of Congress.
