Perry Should Go for Newt’s Jugular

Newt Gingrich has consumed most of the media oxygen in the past few GOP debates, but Salon’s Joan Walsh has some tips to help the faltering Rick Perry snatch the stage back from the gasbagging former House speaker. He’s got the financial lead on Gingrich by far, and, with a well-orchestrated debate pummeling, could stop the Gingrich surge. “Make clear that Gingrich and Romney are ideological chameleons separated at birth, the brothers Flip and Flop,” Walsh advises. “Practice that Obama-contempt in the mirror, and then Tuesday night in the debate, turn it on Newt Gingrich. He deserves it more than Obama does.”
