White House Denies Secret Bo Flight

    Responding to the cutest conspiracy theory of the year, the White House denied that it secretly sent a jet to Hawaii to get Bo, the President’s dog, for a photo op of the president buying Christmas gifts at a Virginia mall. The White House said Bo hadn’t traveled to Hawaii with the Michelle Obama, Sasha, and Malia. Politico points out that Republicans accused Franklin D. Roosevelt of sending a destroyer back to an Alaskan island to rescue his Scottish terrier, Fala, who had been left behind. Roosevelt denied the claim and said Fala was furious.
