Huntsman Confident in New Hampshire

Jon Huntsman Jr., who skipped the Iowa caucuses to concentrate on New Hampshire, said Wednesday that Rick Santorum’s surprise showing in Iowa only shows that the race is still “wide open.”

“It was a wonderfully ambiguous outcome,” said the former Utah governor who hopes to get his bounce here in next Tuesday’s primary. The candidate, who has consistently trailed in national polls, shrugged off Sen. John McCain’s endorsement of Mitt Romney. “I have great regard for Sen. McCain,” he said. “I love the man. But it’s another example of the establishment piling on. Nobody cares.”
