Michele Bachmann announced Wednesday that she will run for a fourth term in the House of Representatives, just hours after she appeared to be undecided on the issue. Asked on Fox News if she would run, she had said, “I very—yes,” and then quickly backtracked, adding, “I believe I’ll be looking at that, very seriously looking at coming back for a fourth term.” A possible reason for her hesitation: a recent poll showed that only 34 percent of voters in Minnesota say they have a positive view of her; 37 percent believe she should run for reelection.
