While campaigning in Las Vegas on Wednesday, Ron Paul told a mostly Hispanic cowd that he does not support the DREAM Act. He did clarify, however, that his opposition is directed at the legislation's cost and not necessarily its mission to help the children of undocumented immigrants become legal citizens through school and the military. "I believe Hispanics have been used as scapegoats, to say, they're the problem instead of being a symptom maybe of a problem with the welfare state," he said, also insisting, "I just do not believe that barbed-wire fences and guns on our border will solve any of our problems."
