The last time the Patriots played the Giants in 2008’s Super Bowl, Obama won the election. In an interview with Matt Lauer, the president said that the economy’s better—and he should be reelected. “I deserve a second term,” Obama said in his pre-Super Bowl sitdown. “But we’re not done.” As for Iran, the president doesn’t think that Israel “has made a decision” to attack Tehran, and are waiting for diplomatic efforts to work. The president said that the idea of more military activities in the Gulf is not ideal. Obama wouldn’t confirm whom he was cheering for in the Super Bowl saying he was just “looking for a good game.”
