TOP 10 RIGHT NOW
Newly released tax returns reveal just how charitable President Obama and his Republican competitors are. Obama, who gave 14.2 percent of his income to charity in 2010, and Mitt Romney, who gave 13.8 percent, are among the most generous politicians vying for the Oval Office this year. While Newt Gingrich certainly is philanthropic, his donations to income ratio is pretty average. Obama gave $245,075 to charity last year, Romney gave $3 million, and Gingrich gave $81,133. Tax returns for Rick Santorum and Ron Paul have not been released.
