Romney is back in the lead in Michigan, according to a new poll from Mitchell Research and Communications Inc., a local firm. The former Massachusetts governor, and Michigan native, has 32 percent of voters’ support, while Rick Santorum has 30 percent. Trailing far behind the two leading candidates is Newt Gingrich with 9 percent and Ron Paul with 7 percent. The research firm’s president notes, “Reports show Romney is spending twice as much on media as Santorum, and it would seem as though it is having an impact.”
