Buddy Roemer’s Leaving the GOP

Buddy Roemer is not giving up on his presidential bid, but being virtually ignored throughout the entire Republican primary race has taken a tole on him. So, he’s taking a new approach. The former Louisiana governor will leave the GOP and seek the presidency as a third party candidate. Roemer is looking to be nominated by both independent group Americans Elect and the Reform Party. He is expected to announce his decision at a news conference Thursday.
