    Well, RoboCop did take place in Detroit. The Rick Santorum campaign is guilty of making robocalls the day before Michigan’s GOP primary, asking Democrats to cast their ballots for him. A Santorum spokesman said the move was intended to get Reagan Democrats to vote for the candidate in the Republican primary—and then the general election. The message points to Mitt Romney’s opposition to the auto bailout as the reason voters should jump on Santorum’s bandwagon. Democrats, on the other hand, have considered voting Santorum to derail Romney’s election hopes in what some have dubbed “Operation Hilarity.” The news comes as Romney and Santorum are neck and neck for the lead in Michigan.
