Rick Santorum may be über-conservative and against mandated contraception coverage, but he knows where to draw the line—or at least he knows better than Rush Limbaugh. When asked by CNN's Wolf Blitzer about Limbaugh's attack on Georgetown law student Sandra Fluke, Santorum acknowledged that Rush was "being absurd," though he noted that an entertainer has somewhat of a right to absurdity. "I'm in a very different business," he said. Meanwhile, advertisers have bailed from Limbaugh's radio show, and Sandra Fluke is even considering suing the conservative commentator for slander, after he called her a "slut" and a "prostitute" for testifying that health-insurance companies should be required to cover contraception.
