Mitt Romney’s campaign is preparing for the next week’s Illinois primary by purchasing airtime in the state. Romney’s super PAC Restore Our Future is already present on the Illinois airwaves, but the Romney camp is getting involved and focusing on the bottom half of the state. Politico predicts that if Romney wins either Alabama or Mississippi Tuesday night, winning Illinois could mean a lock on the Republican nomination.
