Shelton and Lambert Forget Thank Yous

Taylor Swift won Entertainer of the Year at the Academy of Country Music Awards, but it was the recently married Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert who stole the show, taking home three awards between them. Shelton won best male vocalist, while Lambert won best female vocalist and Album of the Year for Four the Record. Shelton was co-hosting the show and seemed taken by surprise when his name was called. “I didn’t see that coming, at all,” he said. Lambert called her albums her “babies” and said, “That’s why I wake up in the morning.” Neither singer thanked the other in their acceptance speech.
