Camilla Gets Highest Female Rank

    Buckingham Palace announced that Prince Charles’s wife, Camilla, has been appointed a Dame Grand Cross of the Royal Victorian Order by the queen. Camilla, who is the Duchess of Cornwall, now holds the highest possible female rank. Observers have noticed that over the years Camilla has become a fixture at the queen’s side and this honor signifies her ever-rising significance within the royal family.
