    ‘Mike Huckabee Show’ a Calmer Alternative to Rush

    The brash rhetoric of Rush Limbaugh has become even more polarizing than normal since his outburst at a law-school student over her desire for employer-provided birth control. Advertisers, radio stations, and listeners fled, leaving room for a new conservative personality to swoop in and claim those alienated by Rush’s harsh voice. Mike Huckabee hopes to be the one to do that, launching a new radio show that promises “more conversation, less confrontation.” One of The Mike Huckabee Show’s first guests will be Mitt Romney, the host’s onetime presidential competitor.
