Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett, who hopes to replace Gov. Scott Walker in Wisconsin’s upcoming recall election, took a hint from the presidential election and focused his latest advertisement on the “war on women.” Barrett slams Walker for “waging an ideological civil war in Wisconsin” by attacking legislation that promotes such policies as real-world sex education for young people and equal pay for equal work. But, Walker’s camp argues, Barrett’s arguments are all lies. His “campaign message has become borderline irrational in his attempt to win a seat that Wisconsin voters have twice denied him because of his failed leadership and utter lack of ideas and solutions,” Walker's communication’s director said.
